Man City sign Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille for £86m
Manchester City have signed midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille in an £85.6m deal, making him the Premier League's most expensive teenager. The 18-year-old joins on a five-year contract, with City paying £81.4m upfront and £4.2m in add-ons. Bouaddi impressed at the World Cup, starting five of Morocco's six matches, and has made 96 appearances for Lille since his debut in 2023. He will be part of a revamped midfield, joining England midfielder Elliot Anderson, who was signed for £116m. Bouaddi has shown he can perform at a high level, making him a hot addition to City's squad.
